Windows 8 e il suo successore windows 8.1, secondo una recente indagine,  stentano a guadagnare fette di mercato, e gia con l’arrivo di windows 8.1 Update 1, si prevedono molte modifiche rispetto alla prima versione windows 8 con MetroUI.

Windows 9 potrebbe tornare ad essere simile a windows 7 ed eliminare definitivamente la sua interfaccia grafica sui dispositivi enterprise, in modo da consentire alle aziende di installare windows 9 all’interno delle ditte grazie ad una nuova funzionalità di internet explorer 11 , l’ enterprise mode, che verrà introdotta anche in windows 8.1 update 1.

Mentre nel settore mobile windows 9 potrebbe evolversi con nuovi e affascinanti scenari, avvicinandosi allo sviluppo di windows phone 9, che in alcuni post sembrano a volte combaciare anche a livello applicativo, windows phone 9 infatti sta iniziando una fase testing su dispositivi nokia, htc e qualcomm e a volte si menziona semplicemente windows 9 come sistema base, vuol dire che oltre agli store ufficiali si sta tentando si unificare anche il sistema operativo ?

Windows 9 molto probabilmente verrà ridisegnato in base alle nuove esigenze di mercato con un nuovo sistema di licensing, che potrebbe essere persino gratuita, come del resto con OneDrvie si mettono a disposizione versioni di microsoft office che si possono utilizzare gratuitamente on-line.

Anche se il sistema di licensing potrebbe arrivare con windows 8.1 con bing un nuovo sistema operativo che fa pensare ad un sistema in grado di monetizzare senza bisogno di fare pagare licenze, con integrato un sistema pubblicitario ad-hoc.

Non ci resta che aspettare il rilascio della versione rtm di windows 9 prevista per l’11 Ottobre 2014, per vedere veramente cosa WINDOWS 9 porta con se.
